Alton Little Theater and Director, Liz Enloe, will hold auditions for PLAID TIDINGS, the sequel to the very successful FOREVER PLAID on Sunday August 1st from 3-5pm at the Alton Little Theater Showplace. The musical calls for four strong male voices and the audition will consist of presenting a prepared song and verbal readings from the script. IS HE DEAD  Auditions - Afton Centre Stage


Auditions for the Mark Twain comedy ‘IS HE DEAD’ will be held on
August 19 at 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.  and on August 21 at noon until 2 p.m. in Art Space #120 at 109 Crestwood Plaza.


There are roles for nine male and four female actors, ages 21 and up. 
Keeton Treece will direct this witty comedy of a starving artist who finds that he and his paintings are worth more dead than alive.  Show dates are Oct. 15 & 16 at Robert Reim Theater in Kirkwood. A Thursday date  on Oct. 14 may be added

Upcoming Auditions for The Crucible

 

Open auditions for the O’FallonTheatreWorks’ production of Arthur Miller’s gripping, four-act drama, The Crucible, will begin at noon on Sunday, August 22, in Civic Hall, 305 Civic Park Drive, O’Fallon MO 63366.

 

The Crucible will be performed on the stage at the O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall) on November 5 – 7 and 12 – 14.

 

The cast calls for 10 men and 10 women, with an age range of 18 to 65+. Auditioners should bring a prepared reading. There will also be cold readings from the script. Crew members and set builders for the production are also needed.

 

Winner of the 1953 Tony Award for Best Play, and made into a film in 1996 starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Winona Ryder and Paul Scofield, The Crucible’s plot focuses on a Puritan farmer, John Proctor, and his wife, Elizabeth, caught up in the deadly accusations and hysteria of the Salem, Massachusetts, witchcraft trials of 1692 and 1693.

Directions to Civic Hall: On I-70 in O’Fallon, MO., take Exit 217 at Highways K/M (Main Street). Drive north on Main Street about one-half mile, turn left on Civic Park Drive after crossing the railroad tracks, and continue to Civic Park about three blocks down on the right. Civic Hall is adjacent to the main parking lot.

There are 4 openings for Reno’s Angels in “ Anything Goes” with the Fr. Wm Schied Players. Performances are August 20,21,22 at Florissant Civic center with rehearsals at Kenrick Seminary in South St. Louis. Need Dancers who can sing or singers who can dance. •Bring dance shoes for your dance audition

Cast needs include:
We are looking at casting:
- 3 women and 2 men that are primarily singers
- 3 women and 3 men that are primarily dancers

Production dates are Thursday thru Sunday, September 30 - October 3 and October 7-10
