Bob Mulch Tribute

ARTS FOR LIFE presented "A Musical Tribute for Bob Mulch" on Saturday, May 14, 2005, 3:00 pm, at the Community Christian Church in Manchester, MO. The musical program raised funds to benefit the American Cancer Society.

Bob Mulch has been battling a progressive throat cancer, leaving him unable to participate in what he has always done so well with so many of us in the community: singing, musical threatre, choirs, and theatre arts. ARTS FOR LIFE spent an afternoon celebrating Bob’s contribution to music and theatre in our community. Musical theatre renditions from shows that Bob performed in were recreated by many of the original cast members of the community theatre groups, which included the Alpha Players of Florissant, K’s Theatrical Korps, Kirkwood Theatre Guild, Family Musical Theater, and Spotlight Productions. The Contemporary Christian Singing Group, Promise, of which Bob has been a part of, also performed along with Bob's church choir for whom he conducted at the ceremony. Personal tributes were given by Bob's friends, family and co-workers from Smurfit-Stone, Inc.
Admission remained free with a check payable to the American Cancer Society kindly encouraged. A reception followed the performance. Anyone wishing to make a donation to the American Cancer Society in Bob's behalf, please send a check to ARTS FOR LIFE.
