Bird on a Wire | about
Like the name suggests, I am a bird on a wire just hanging out, viewing the world from up top an unstable yet strong cable full of electricity. It is here where I find myself pondering about what makes me smile, feel happy, and having a sense of self-worth. It is here that I have found my passion: the silk screen. It is through the silk screen process that I have found my creative outlet to express myself as well as make others feel the same way as that bird up on the wire.
With a BFA degree in graphic design, I have combined my design skill with the silk screen along with the craft of DIY to produce handmade goods to make items that are both functional and visually pleasing. I have attended such indie craft shows as The Big Ass Indie Craft Show and The Rock 'N Roll Craft Show here in St. Louis, MO where I reside. My studio called The Candy Shoppe, is located in South City in a basement full of Christmas lights and tons of fun!
